Course Abstract: This course is designed to provide application development staff with the skills necessary to design, code and test IMSADF transactions.
Duration: 5 days
Primary Audience: Application development staff.
Prerequisites: TSO; programming experience.
Course Objectives: Upon successful completion of the course, the student should be able to:
- Design, code and test IMSADF transactions using standard processing
Class Format: Lecture with hands-on exercises.

- Application Logic Definition: Audit database segments; related fields; coding the audit language; phase and leg identifiers; audit subroutines; static load module generation
- Screen Development: Auto and custom screen design
- Message Definition: Message database segments; updating the message database
- Transaction Definition: Transaction generate options; sign-on generations; driver and composite rule load creation
- Security: Sign-on database segments; defining userids and application profiles
