IMSADF with DB2

Course Abstract: This course is designed for IMSADF application programmers needing to integrate DB2 technology into their existing or new applications. All aspects of using DB2 tables with IMSADF and IADF are covered. Intensive hands-on exercises are provided.

Duration: 4 days

Primary Audience: IMSADF application programming personnel.

Prerequisites: COBOL, IMSADF, DB2 concepts.

Course Objectives: Upon successful completing of this course, the student should be able to:

• Generate DB2 table definitions using IADF
• Code and test HLAL using SQL call
• Code and test SPRs and Audit Exits using native SQL or SQLHNDLR

Class Format: Lecture with hands-on exercises.

Cost: In-house: $8,000 for up to 15 students; $400 for each additional student.
